NEW DELHI: All India Football Federation’s Elite Academy Boys swept aside their back-to-back disappointments against Bengaluru FC and Salgaocar Reserve Team to get the better of Dempo Reserve Team 4-2 in a Friendly game at the SESA GOA Academy Ground.

The U-19 Academy Boys, who also form the core of the Indian U-19 National Team, surged ahead in the 41^st minute courtesy Deepak Prakash.

After the break, Deepak notched his hattrick with beautiful strikes in the 55^th and 61^st minute while Jeje (47^th and 53^rd) scored a double in between to put the match beyond doubt.

Uttam Rai completed the rout in the 66^th minute.

The Academy Boys next play SESA Professional Team on March 11.
