Mousumi Murmu scored the solitary goal in the 59th minute as Bengal ticked all the boxes in bagging their first win in the Final Round of the competition. The goal came in the second half after the first half saw Bengal dominate possession and create numerous chances.
It was a beautifully floated cross from the right by Rimpa Haldar, which deceived the Odisha defence before Murmu jumped to head the ball home. Bengal took firm control of the proceedings after taking the lead. Odisha, though, could have equalised in the last minute, but Jasoda Munda’s header from a corner hit the crosspiece.
Goa 1 (Karishma Purushottam Shirvoikar 28)

Chhattisgarh 2 (Devika Yadav, 80, 90+5)
Chhattisgarh got a dramatic 2-1 win over Goa courtesy substitute Devika Yadav’s brace. Goa had taken the lead through Karishma Purushottam Shirvoikar in the 28th minute. After being released with a through ball, Shirvoikar slotted the ball past an onrushing Chhattisgarh goalkeeper.
The goal gave Goa the confidence to establish a tight grip on the match. However, Chhattisgarh regrouped during the break and came alive towards the end. They levelled the score in the 80th minute after Goa goalkeeper Ria Rajesh fumbled to gather a cross cleanly. Devika, who came on as a substitute during the half-time, pounced on the opportunity to slot it in.
Goa, though, were left stunned in injury time, when Devika netted the winner. Kiran Pisda made a darting run on the left wing before cutting inside to unleash a left-footer. However, her shot ricocheted off the crosspiece. Devika, however, was alert and scored the winner on the rebound with a powerful left-footer.
