NEW DELHI: Twenty six probables would be reporting to the Preparatory Camp in Guwahati for India’s Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia against Nepal.


The squad would be reporting to the Camp in Guwahati from March 4 onwards. The rest of the Players would be reporting to the Camp the next day (March 5) after the conclusion of the Hero I-League matches on March 4.


The first match between India and Nepal would be played at the Indira Gandhi Athletics Stadium in Sajusarai on March 12, while the return leg is slated to be played in Kathmandu on March 17.


The match on March 12 kicks-off at 7pm.


A list of 32 probables were earlier announced by National Coach Stephen Constantine.

The list of the 26 probables for the home and away matches of the Preliminary Joint Qualification Round 1 for the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia is as follows:


GOALKEEPERS: Subrata Paul, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, Arindam Bhattacharya.


DEFENDERS: Keegan Pereira, Shaumik Dey, Arnab Mondal, Aiborlang Khongjee, Sandesh Jhingan, Augstine Fernandes, Pritam Kotal.


MIDFIELDERS: Prabir Das, Francis Fernandes, Lenny Rodrigues, Eugeneson Lyngdoh,  Anthony D’Souza, Cabin Lobo, Lalrindika Ralte, Dhanapal Ganesh.


FORWARDS: Mandar Rao Desai, Alwyn George, Holicharan Narzary, Sunil Chhetri, Robin Singh, Balwant Singh, Jeje Lalpekhlua, Jackichand Singh.
