Reports to- Head of Coach Education/ Technical Director

Contract Period- 1 Year

Age Limit- Below 50 years


Role Purpose

To design, deliver, and evaluate coach education programs across the region, ensuring alignment with national and international standards. The Coach Educator will play a key role in improving coaching quality, player development pathways, and grassroots to elite football structures.


Key Responsibilities

1. Coach Education Delivery

  • Plan and conduct coaching courses (Grassroots, D, C, B, A License levels or equivalent)
  • Deliver theoretical and practical sessions aligned with federation curriculum
  • Assess and evaluate coaches using standardized frameworks

2. Curriculum Implementation

  • Implement coach education syllabus as per AIFF, AFC and FIFA standards
  • Adapt content to regional needs while maintaining quality benchmarks and support continuous development of course materials and learning resources
  • Lead different Committee to Amend/Develop curriculum.

3. Talent & Grassroots Development

  • Support grassroots football initiatives and school programs
  • Assist in identifying and nurturing coaching talent within the region
  • Promote long-term player development models

4. Monitoring & Evaluation

  • Monitor coaching standards across clubs, academies, and schools
  • Conduct club visits and provide technical guidance
  • Maintain records of coach licensing, progress, and assessments

5. Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with district associations, academies, and clubs
  • Support federation technical programs and competitions
  • Represent the federation in regional football development initiatives

6. Additional Responsibilities

  • Support and contribute to activities beyond core Coach Education functions, including scouting, talent identification, technical assessments, accreditation, and other football development initiatives undertaken by the organisation.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of scouting and accreditation frameworks, processes, and standards as required.
  • Participate in scouting programmes, player/coach assessments, accreditation visits, evaluations, and related technical activities.
  • Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders to support technical and football development projects.
  • Undertake any other football-related technical, developmental, or organisational responsibilities assigned from time to time, in line with the objectives of the organisation.

7. Continuous Professional Development (CPD)

  • Organize workshops, seminars, and refresher courses
  • Stay updated with global best practices in coaching and education
  • Participate in national/international educator development programs

Qualifications & Requirements

  • AFC/UEFA Pro or ‘A’ License (minimum) or equivalent
  • Certified Coach Educator (preferred or willingness to obtain)
  • Experience delivering coach education or mentoring coaches
