This is the third most important event on the FIFA calendar for Women’s Competitions, with 16 countries playing a total of 32 games. The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup has been a key steppingstone in the careers of a large part of world football stars and will be one of the most important events ever to be hosted in Indian football history. The tournament has a huge worldwide reach and is a golden opportunity to showcase to the world, our cities, culture and the capability of organizing an event meeting the highest standards. 

Undoubtedly, the FIFA Under 17 Women’s World Cup will have a lasting influence on Indian Football and is primed to be a game changer for the Football Vision in India through the upgradation of infrastructure, improved game operations standards and refining the overall quality of the game. 

Job Description:

This position will be responsible for managing the Ticketing Department with the implementation of the ticketing strategies for the tournament and supporting the objectives and ticketing operations for the competition at the venue level. The position will act as the main contact for all the ticketing operations at the venue level.

The Venue Ticketing Officer must work jointly with the Senior Ticketing Manager and Head of Operations to implement strategies, action plans, protocols and business plans that have the objective to fulfil the Mission and Vision of the Organization. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Managing Venue Ticketing Department within the preparation work of FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup India 2022; 
• Responsible for implementing the ticketing strategy with the ticketing services agency;
• Work closely with the Ticketing Agency to deliver the ticketing strategy and operations of the tournament; 
• Monitoring the deliverables of the ticketing agency at the venue level in terms of staffing, signage, box offices, etc;
• Cooperation with all LOC departments concerning the ticketing matters at the venue; 
• Working with ticketing database and preparing reports for internal and external parties;
• Training of sales agents and ticketing volunteers;
• Organizing and monitoring ticket requests by the LOC team;
• Other responsibilities related to ticketing issues;
• Develop its work consistently with the values of the organization; 

Candidate Profile:

• Full university education in streams such as Finance, Economics, Marketing, Events Management or others related; 

• At least 2 years of working experience in ticketing sales and/or operations;
• Knowledge of ticketing systems, reports and software, ideally in the sports industry;
• Experience with client management; 
• Experience with creating proposals;
• Strong analytical capacity; 
• Good relationship with peers in high-stress moments; 
• Excellent written and oral skills;
• Advanced Level of English;
• Advanced Level of knowledge in Microsoft Office platforms such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint;
• Work Experience in sports is a plus
