GOA: Indian Arrows Women Juniors finished runners-up in the 2024-25 Indian Women's League 2 after a 4-0 win over Krida Prabodhini Pune at the Duler Stadium in Mapusa on Thursday, May 15, 2025. Joakim Alexandersson's side controlled the game from start to finish and led 3-0 at half-time.

Overall, Indian Arrows Women Juniors ended their inaugural IWL 2 campaign with six wins and two defeats, including the group stage. In the final round, they accumulated nine points and finished behind champions Garhwal United FC due to an inferior head-to-head record.

Indian Arrows opened the scoring in the eighth minute as Abhista Basnett's long-ranger hit the crossbar, and Shveta Rani's attempt on the rebound was saved by Hritika Bandsode. But the ball bounced again in front of Valaina Fernandes, who slotted it in first time.

Valaina doubled the lead in the 21st minute, bundling in the loose ball after Krida Prabodhini Pune goalkeeper Hritika failed to catch Viksit Bara's corner.

Alexandersson's side put the game to bed right before half-time as diminutive midfielder Anushka Kumari surged into the box from the right and shot straight at Hritika. The rebound arrived at Anushka's feet again, and she made no mistake in half-volleying it crisply into the near post.

Divyani Linda wrapped up the scoring in the 57th minute after being sent clear on goal with a brilliant through ball by captain Julan Nongmaithem. The right winger went around the goalkeeper and finished into the empty net.

Krida Prabodhini Pune were denied a consolation goal in the 70th minute when Divya Pawara tapped in a cross from the right, but was flagged offside.
