FIFA Coach Educator Pathway Project gets underway in Goa

NEW DELHI: The FIFA Coach Educator pathway project kicked off yesterday November 1, 2022, and will commence on November 5, 2022, at Goa. The All India Football Federation earlier announced that it has been selected by the FIFA Technical Development Division after a survey for the Coach Educator Development Pathway Project, India 2022, a Coach Education programme for its member associations.

Mr. Brahmanand Shankhwalker, Padmshree & Arjuna Awardee and Chairman of GFDC (Goa) and Mr. Bruno Coutinho, Arjuna Awardee & ex national captain were the chief guests on the opening of the course yesterday (Tuesday, November 1, 2022) and Mohamed Basir Bin V Ellaya Kutty, Senior Manager, FIFA Coaching Development Department & Mr. Bassem Ali Mohamad from FIFA are the assessors for the said course. 

The project will comprise of activities like e-learning, online and on-site modules, as well as individual mentoring, which will provide the coach educators with further growth opportunities.

The project is about developing Coach Educators a 'C' Diploma and it will be upgraded in the future. 25 Coach Educators with 'C' Diploma have been registered for the course. 

The participants for the course are – 

Onsite Course, Anjana Turambekar, Shailesh Karkera, Prashant Singh, Raghuvir Khanolkar, Kundan Chandra, Deryll D’souza, Altaf Syed, Shafeeq Hassan, Mario Aguiar, Shakti Singh, Deepak C.M, Vivek Nagul,Shakti Chauhan, Bijish Ben, Savio Medeira, Jeddy Almeida,Pradhyum Reddy, Uttam S Negi,John K Raj, Gumpe Rime, Joshua Vaz, Dinesh Nair, P Thulasi, Caetano Pinho, Sajid Dar, Mariano Dias, Shekhar Kerkar.
