State Association
AIFF to organize online learning sessions for GSFA members as part of State Development initiative
07 May 2020

In continuation to the online educational initiatives taken for various stakeholders of Indian Football, on request from Gujarat State Football Association (GSFA), AIFF will be organising dedicated online sessions for GSFA on Grassroots Football, Coaches Education, Golden Baby Leagues, Futsal, Academy Accreditation, Youth Leagues, Sub-Junior and Junior Championships.

The sessions will be conducted for various administrators and members working at the State Association and also at the district level. The sessions will help update all concerned stakeholders of GSFA of the latest operational structures and initiatives of Football under AIFF.

Under the State Development initiative, AIFF intends to bind each state to its long term strategic plan and goal for Indian Football across all verticals. Mr. Gulab Chauhan, Honorary Secretary GSFA states," I think such an initiative will help all the members of GSFA to understand the present initiatives of AIFF for Football Development. If the members become aware of the development initiatives, they can pass on the message to other working officials and will help all stakeholders be on the same page as far as Indian Football is concerned. It will also be a learning experience for them of the various football activities happening under AIFF."

Kushal Das, General Secretary, AIFF mentions, "I think it is important for the stakeholders of Indian Football to continue learning through online platforms during such difficult circumstances. I feel the online learning sessions for GSFA will be fruitful as far as AIFF-State FA relationship and Football development are concerned".

The sessions will take place as per the following schedule:
a. 11th May, 2020 - Grassroots.
b. 12th May, 2020 - Coach Education.
c. 13th May, 2020 - Golden Baby Leagues, Youth Leagues, Futsal and Academy Accreditation.

The session for the Sub-Junior and Junior Championship will be confirmed at a later date.
