VASCO (GOA): Korea Republic registered a 3-0 over Malaysia in their first match of the AIFF Youth Cup at the Tilak Maidan, Vasco, Goa on Tuesday (My 17). The winners led 2-0 at half-time.

The first goal came in the 24th minute when Kim Chaewoon followed it inside the box, sidestepped his maker and placed it in. The lead was doubled ten minutes later by Park Jeongin in the 34th minute.

Changing over, the match was mainly confined to the midfield. The easiest chace fell to Korea's Cheon Seonghoon in injury time but with only the rival Goalkepeer to beat he hit the post, and even blasted it into the post off the rebound.

Barely a minute later, Korea scored their third goal -- Jeon Wooram hitting the target.

Malaysia were reduced to 10-men when Xsevier Felex was given marching orders.
