PUNE: FC Pune City beat Delhi Dynamos FC 4-3 during their 2016 Hero Indian Super League encounter in front of almost 9,000 fans at the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex Stadium in Balewadi on Friday. Pune’s Mohamed Sissoko missed a penalty before Kean Lewis scored to give the Lions a first-half lead. A brace from Anibal Rodriguez and Sissoko made it 3-1 for the hosts before an Eduardo Ferreira own-goal made it 3-2. Goals from substitutes Lenny Rodrigues and Malsawmzuala in stoppage time saw the match end 4-3 in favour of the hosts as leaders Delhi succumbed to their second defeat of Hero Indian Super League 2016.

The hosts had a great chance of taking the lead early on after Sissoko threaded in a delightful pass to Ferreira inside three minutes. Ferreira found himself in a one-on-one situation with Soram Poirei but his shot was straight at the Delhi custodian, who was glad to concede a corner.
