KOLKATA: Mohun Bagan Coach Sanjoy Sen said that his side needs to be “careful” during the “first 15-minutes” when they take on against Maldives’ Maziya Sports and Recreation in a crucial Group E match of the AFC Cup at the Rabindra Sarobar Stadium in Kolkata on Wednesday (April 19).

“We need to be careful for the first 15-20 minutes and proceed from there,” the Coach maintained.
He also informed that he may bring in some changes into his side. “I will bring in a couple or more changes. But we will be fielding a strong Team against Maziya,” he uttered indicating his bench strength which has been Bagan's hallmark this season.
Midfielder Azharuddin Mallick who was also present in the Official pre-match Press Conference felt that the AFC Cup is making him “more confident” as a player.
“The Coach has shown his faith on me. I need to play well and score more goals,” Mallick informed.
Maziya Coach Marjan Secluveski, however, refused to comment on Sen “resting his Players.”
“Mohun Bagan are a very strong Team. I am not in a position to comment on their Coach resting their Players,'' he said in reference to Bagan's gameplan for the match.
Meanwhile Maziya Captain Abdullah Asadullah said “tomorrow’s match will be a competitive” one.
“We played Mohun Bagan last season and they were better than us. But there have been many changes in our Team this season and we are much stronger as a unit. Tomorrow's match will be a competitive one,” he predicted.
The kick-off is slated for 7pm.
