NEW DELHI: A five-man Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Special Mission Team (SMT) led by AFC Research and Support Services Head Mr. Steve Kim landed in Mumbai late Tuesday (July 9, 2013) night on a five-day visit during which they will inspect the two new Clubs in I-League – Mumbai Tigers and JSW.

Besides Kim, the other four Members are Mr. Benjamin Tan Tiong Meng, Mr.Ong Chong Heng, Mr. Jose Marcelino Zalazar Carpio and Mr. Mahajan Vasudevan. They would be accompanied by I-League CEO Mr Sunando Dhar and AIFF’s Club Licensing Manager.

The SMT will also attend the I-League Workshop at the AIFF Headquarters, Football House on July 12, 2013. The Workshop will reflect extensively on matters related to Match-day Operations, Youth Development, Media Relations, Stadia Safety and Refereeing Matters and Laws of the Game.
