NEW DELHI: The fifth edition of the AIFF Futsal Club Championship will kick off on June 17, 2026, at the SAG Indoor Stadium in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. The tournament will be streamed live on the Indian Football YouTube Channel.
The opening day will see Goan side Ponda Footballers take on Build Up Sports of Madhya Pradesh in Group A at 12:00 IST, before Minerva Academy of Punjab face Millat FC of Maharashtra in Group B at 15:00 IST. Gujarat's Progressive SA take on defending champions Goal Hunterz FC from Delhi at 18:00 IST.
A total of 13 clubs from across the country will compete over 12 days for the national futsal crown, with the final scheduled for June 28. The teams have been divided into four groups, with Group B comprising four teams and the remaining three groups containing three teams each. The top two teams from each group will qualify for the quarter-finals.
The AIFF Futsal Club Championship returns to Gujarat for only the second time after the 2023-24 edition was held in Vadodara. Bhavnagar will become the latest city to host India's premier club futsal competition as teams from 13 state associations vie for national honours. Notably, nine of those clubs will be making their debut in the tournament. Historically, Rajasthan, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, and Andhra Pradesh will be represented at the AIFF Futsal Club Championship for the first time.
Group A features Goa's Ponda Footballers, Madhya Pradesh's Build Up Sports and 2023-24 champions Corbett FC of Uttarakhand. Corbett will have eyes on the trophy again after losing in the semi-finals last time out. Ponda Footballers and Build Up Sports will become only the third sides to represent Goa and Madhya Pradesh, respectively, at the tournament.
Group B promises to be one of the most competitive groups, featuring defending champions Goal Hunterz FC, 2022-23 champions Minerva Academy FC, 2023-24 quarter-finalists Millat FC from Maharashtra, and hosts and debutants Progressive Sports Academy of Gujarat.
Goal Hunterz FC, who triumphed 4-2 in a thrilling final against Bhawanipore FC last year, will aim to become the first club to defend their title. Minerva Academy remain one of the most experienced teams in the competition's history and will be eager to add another title to their collection after having bowed out at the quarter-final stage in each of the last two editions. Progressive SA will carry home support as Gujarat's representatives, while Millat FC will seek to improve on their quarter-final finish from two seasons ago.
Group C contains three debutants in Mizoram's Tlangnuam FC, Himachal Pradesh's FC Bushahr and Andhra Pradesh's Coramandal FC. Tlangnuam FC continue the strong tradition of Mizo participation in national futsal competitions. FC Bushahr will become the fourth different side from Himachal Pradesh to play at the tournament, while Coramandal FC will make history by being the first club from Andhra Pradesh to feature in the AIFF Futsal Club Championship.
Group D consists of three more debutants — Rajasthan's Ganganagar City FC, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu's Young Hearts FC and Karnataka's South Castle United FA. The former two will be the first clubs to represent their member associations at futsal's national stage.
Following the completion of the group stage on June 22, the quarter-finals will be played on June 24, followed by the semi-finals on June 26. The AIFF Futsal Club Championship 2025-26 will conclude with the final at the SAG Indoor Stadium on June 28 at 17:00.
