Role Overview:
The primary role of the Head Coach – U-15 Men’s National Team is to select, monitor, and prepare the U15 Men’s National Team (“National Team”) for the various matches and competitions played by the National Team including competitions of the FIFA with the primary objective being to ensure that the National Team wins the maximum number of matches and competitions it participates in.
Key Responsibilities:
In this regard, the role of the Head Coach – U15 Men’s National Team shall require the following:
- Report regularly to the AIFF Deputy Secretary General and work in close cooperation with the National Team Department, the National Team Director and the Technical Director.
- Communicate with the National Team’s Department regarding travel arrangements.
- Lead and drive team culture and harmony with players and staff and to achieve professional excellence that aligns with AIFF’s expectations.
- Lead strategic, tactical, technical, team selection, and team culture direction of the National Team.
- Attend and lead the team at all matches, training sessions, and camps of the National Team.
- Provide direction, support, and advice to coaching staff on all on-field matters relating to the National Team.
- Allocate tasks and duties to assistant coaches and manage their performance to meet expected standards.
- Work with National Team’s staff to ensure the team has the appropriate medical, conditioning, and other necessary support services.
- Liaise with the National Team’s medical and physio staff with regard to rehabilitation/training and the availability of injured players.
- Mandatorily cooperate with AIFF on media and other appearances and promotions to meet commercial (including media, sponsor, and broadcast commitments) and game promotion requirements, including social media, website as directed by AIFF.
- Role model and ambassador of AIFF.
Safeguarding & Player Welfare
- Ensure all players, especially minors, are treated with care, respect, and protection in line with AIFF’s safeguarding policy.
- Promote a culture of responsibility, inclusivity, and discipline within the NT Team.
Reporting & Communication
- Submit weekly training reports, player evaluations, and progress summaries to the Technical and National Team’s Director.
- Maintain open communication with the AIFF technical department and National Team Department
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Valid AFC PRO or 'A' License or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience coaching at a professional club, or elite youth development program
- Proven ability to manage youth teams and staff in a high-performance environment
Preferred:
- Experience working with Youth national teams.
- Proficiency in using performance analysis tools and digital platforms
- Indian Nationals will be preferred for the U-15 Head Coach Job.
