Role Overview
The League Content Officer is responsible for planning, creating, and managing all league-owned content related to matches, competitions, and league initiatives. The role ensures consistent storytelling, brand alignment, and timely delivery of digital and broadcast-support content.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Strategy & Planning
- Develop season-long content calendars aligned with league objectives.
- Coordinate matchday, non-matchday, and promotional content plans.
2. Matchday Content Operations
- Oversee live content capture from stadiums (photos, videos, interviews).
- Coordinate with broadcast, clubs, and media teams for content access.
- Ensure timely publishing across league digital platforms.
3. Editorial & Brand Compliance
- Maintain league tone, branding, and messaging standards.
- Review and approve content assets for accuracy and compliance.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Work closely with clubs, sponsors, broadcasters, and production agencies.
- Support commercial activations through branded content delivery.
5. Reporting & Analytics
- Track content performance and fan engagement metrics.
- Provide post-match and seasonal content reports.
Key Skills & Experience
- 4–7 years’ experience in sports content, media, or digital production
- Strong understanding of football and live event environments
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and editorial judgment
- Experience managing agencies and freelancers
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
