Role Overview
The League Secretary is responsible for administrative governance, documentation, and regulatory coordination of league competitions. The role ensures compliance with competition regulations, supports disciplinary and regulatory processes, and manages official league correspondence and records.
Key Responsibilities
1. Governance & Documentation
- Maintain official league documents, regulations, and circulars.
- Issue competition notices, amendments, and official communications.
2. Regulatory & Compliance Support
- Coordinate disciplinary, integrity, and regulatory processes.
- Liaise with AIFF and judicial bodies on regulatory matters.
3. Match & Competition Administration
- Oversee match documentation, official reports, and competition records.
- Support match commissioners with administrative requirements.
4. Stakeholder Coordination
- Act as the primary administrative contact for clubs and officials.
- Support league committees and official meetings.
5. Reporting & Record Keeping
- Maintain accurate records of decisions, sanctions, and rulings.
- Prepare summary reports for league management.
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in sports administration or governance
- Strong knowledge of football regulations and competition frameworks
- High attention to detail and documentation standards
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive matters
