Role Overview
The Assistant Venue Operations Manager supports the Venue Operations Manager in the planning, execution, and delivery of all venue-related operations during ISL matches and events. This role has a strong focus on venue sponsor servicing, marketing implementation, and coordination with digital content teams to ensure seamless matchday operations and brand activation in line with league and club standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Venue Operations Manager in end-to-end venue operations, including pre-event planning, matchday execution, and post-event wrap-up.
- Support coordination with stadium authorities, security, vendors, broadcast teams, and other operational stakeholders.
- Help ensure compliance with ISL operational guidelines, safety protocols, and timelines.
- Monitor venue readiness and assist in resolving operational issues on matchdays.
- Sponsor Servicing & Brand Activation
- Oversee implementation of venue sponsor deliverables as per contractual agreements.
- Coordinate with sponsors, marketing teams, and vendors to ensure accurate placement of branding (LED boards, static signage, fan zones, hospitality areas, etc.).
- Act as the on-ground point of contact for sponsors during matchdays.
- Ensure sponsor activations are executed smoothly and aligned with league and club brand standards.
- Assist in post-event reporting related to sponsor visibility and execution.
- Marketing Implementation
- Support execution of marketing campaigns and fan engagement activities within the venue.
- Coordinate setup of fan engagement zones, experiential activations, and promotional activities.
- Ensure timely installation and removal of marketing assets before and after events.
- Work closely with the central and club marketing teams to align on objectives and execution.
- Digital Content Coordination: Liaise with digital and content teams to facilitate access, locations, and logistics for content creation at the venue.
- Coordinate filming, photography, and social media content requirements on matchdays.
- Ensure content teams operate within venue protocols and timelines.
- Support integration of sponsor and marketing narratives into digital content opportunities.
- Assist in creating operational schedules, checklists, and run-of-show documents.
- Support matchday briefings and debriefs with internal teams and stakeholders.
- Document operational learnings and contribute to continuous improvement of venue processes.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in sports events, venue operations, or live entertainment
- Prior experience working with sponsors and marketing activations is preferred
- Familiarity with football events or large-scale sporting events is an advantage
Willingness to work irregular hours, including matchdays, weekends, and holidays
