Role Overview

The League Chief Commercial Officer leads all commercial, sponsorship, and revenue-generating activities of the league. The role is responsible for developing commercial strategy, maximizing league assets, and ensuring delivery of sponsor and partner commitments across all competitions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Commercial Strategy & Revenue Growth

• Develop and execute league-wide commercial and sponsorship strategy.
• Identify new revenue streams including sponsorships, licensing, and partnerships.

2. Sponsorship & Partner Management

• Lead negotiations with sponsors, partners, and rights holders.
• Ensure delivery of contractual commercial obligations across venues.

3. Asset & Inventory Management

• Manage league commercial inventory (on-ground, digital, broadcast).
• Work with operations teams to ensure asset implementation.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination

• Coordinate with operations, content, broadcast, and clubs for activation delivery.
• Support clubs in maximizing commercial alignment with league strategy.

5. Reporting & Commercial Governance

• Track commercial performance and ROI metrics.
• Provide regular commercial reports to league leadership.

Key Skills & Experience

• 5-10 years experience in sports commercial or sponsorship roles
• Proven track record in revenue growth and partner management
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
• Deep understanding of sports sponsorship ecosystems
• Strategic mindset with operational execution capability
