Role Overview

The All India Football Federation (AIFF) is seeking an experienced Brand and PR Strategist to build, guide, and strengthen the narrative and communication strategy for AIFF initiatives. This role is essential in ensuring that the transformation of Indian football is represented through a unified, culturally resonant brand system across all platforms.

The strategist will work closely with the AIFF Communications Department, media coordinators, and external creative partners to conceptualise campaigns, shape messaging, and maintain strong visual and verbal consistency throughout all initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Build a nationwide pipeline of football stories by collaborating with partners across the Indian football ecosystem
  • Shape how stories are positioned externally, ensuring accuracy, authenticity, and timely delivery
  • Oversee the execution of campaigns across PR, social media, and on-ground activities
  • Translate technical achievements—league development, increased participation, talent progression—into accessible and impactful public narratives
  • Conceptualise and lead national campaigns highlighting youth leagues, grassroots festivals, women’s football initiatives, and development programs
  • Collaborate with media partners and creative agencies to deliver cohesive, high-quality storytelling

Skills & Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in brand marketing or public relations
  • 5+ years of experience in sports marketing (global activation experience preferred)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating excellence in narrative development, brand storytelling, and campaign design
  • Deep understanding of India’s football landscape and its cultural nuances
  • Experience working with creative teams, agencies, and production units
