Key Deliverables:

1Oversee the planning, execution, and operations of Club Youth football competitions.
2Manage all aspects of AIFF organised competitions, including scheduling, regulations, and registrations.
3Collaborate with Clubs for preliminary and final tournament rounds.
4Plan and conduct draw and issue tournament fixtures.
5Prepare budgets for AIFF tournaments and liaise with the finance department and settle claim for match officials for AIFF.
6Coordinate with marketing and sponsorship teams for match delivery.
7Design operational plans for venues, stadium bookings, and marketing initiatives.
8Work with the Player Status department for player registrations.
9Develop and administer Club football championships.
10Align the football calendar with domestic competitions.
11Foster relationships with Member Associations and clubs.
12Collaborate closely with the Referees department for competition-related matters.
13Provide reports and information to the head of the department.
14Serve as a primary contact point for all national competition and international match matters.
15Work with Club Licensing Manager and help with AIFF Club Licensing Management.
16Ensure alignment with AIFF’s strategic goals and motivate the department.

Qualifications:

  • 2-4 years of competition organisation experience, with a degree in sports management preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proven experience in a similar role in clubs or Academies.
  • Proficiency in AIFF CMS (Competition Management System).
  • Strong attention to detail in match organisation.
  • Understanding of core principles of football development.
  • Basic IT knowledge and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Awareness of AIFF's strategic goals.
  • Leadership abilities to motivate the department.
