All India Football Federation is looking for an experienced Physiotherapists second to the present physiotherapist to manage the India senior women National Team. Selected candidate will assist the respective team’s training programs and manage the team’s training/match activities to help create a competitive and winning team.

Key Deliverables:

1Facilitate timely rehabilitation for injured athletes, monitor recovery plans and return to sport ,  consistent with evidence established protocols.
2Facilitate the collection of athlete specific information, including the monitoring and evaluation of  injury and return to sport data longitudinally, monitor injury status and its impact on performance. 
3Maintain comprehensive electronic medical records and, respecting individual athlete    confidentiality.

5Facilitate a multi-disciplinary team approach to injury management and prevention.  Develop and monitor physiotherapy interventions in line with technical demands and specific skill requirements relevant to the varying disciplines within the sport.

7.Give sports massage and physical treatment on regular basis, help the first physiotherapist.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy - essential
  • Experience working in sport - minimum 2 Years essential.
  • Evidence of deep knowledge of athlete screening, injury profiling and injury management pathways within an elite athlete population essential
  • Evidence of working with junior and/or senior national level athletes essential Working with multiple sports desirable
  • Working in a recognised sports and/or high-performance institute environment within a multi- disciplinary team desirable
