NEW DELHI: The All India Football Federation (AIFF) successfully concluded the Referee Assessor (RA) and Referee Instructor (RI) Course at Football House, New Delhi, on Sunday, December 14, 2025.

The two-day programme, which began on December 13, aimed to strengthen the referee development and assessment frameworks and was attended by nine officials from various states.

Mr K. Sankar, Chairperson, Referees Committee, Mr Rizwan Ul Haq, and Mr P. Bhaskar served as the instructors in the programme, while Mr Mohd. Kamil, Member, Referees Committee, attended the programme as an observer. AIFF Deputy Secretary General Mr M Satyanarayan was present.

Lectures on the roles and responsibilities of RAs and RIs were delivered, with detailed discussions on the role of an assessor, the degree of difficulty in assessing match officials, and the KMI Matrix 2025-26.
