NEW DELHI: The Indian senior women's team defeated Swiss club FC Schlieren 2-1 in a closed-door friendly match at the Emirhan Sport Center in Manavgat, Türkiye, on Saturday, January 24, 2026.

Anju Tamang (19') and Grace Dangmei (81') struck in each half for the Blue Tigresses before FC Schlieren reduced the margin with an 85th-minute penalty.

This was India's second friendly in Türkiye after a 0-2 defeat to Ukraine's FC Metalist 1925 Kharkiv last Saturday. The Blue Tigresses are preparing for the AFC Women's Asian Cup Australia 2026, which will be held in March.
