AIFF Media Team NEW DELHI: AIFF U-19 boys won against Cavellosim by a margin of 2-1 in a practice match played at the Fatorda Stadium yesterday (December 9, 2016). Roshan and Edmund were absolutely spot on when the opponents netted the consolation goal in the second half from a heavy deflection. AIFF Academy boys started on a positive note and just after the half-hour mark, they found the opening goal when Zonunmawia and Edmund had a brilliant 1-2 between them and finally Roshan did the final job from inside the 6-yard box. After the changeover, it was Hrishi who coordinated well with Edmund to unleash a lucid delivery to the youngster who, having dribbled past the opponent defender, doubled the lead from the close range. At the stroke of the hour mark, Cavellosim got a free kick and they converted it after a heavy deflection from the wall. AIFF boys got another chance to extend their lead in the 85th minute but Raghav's shot went astray.
