The Academy Accreditation forms the eligibility criteria for participation in next season's AIFF Youth Leagues across all categories for all clubs and academies that include Hero I-League, Hero ISL, Hero 2nd Division League and other private/government clubs and academies. Academies claiming to fulfill the set criteria are required to upload necessary proof in the form of official documents on the Accreditation portal by the deadline given above.

After the successful upload of all required documents, the same will be assessed and reverted upon. The process will be followed by physical inspection at respective sites to verify the uploads. Points will then be allotted to each academy after inspection. The total points allotted will determine the Academy rating.

Details leading to the assessment and inspection in the process along with all other mandatory criteria are shared through the rules and regulations document. The eligibility criteria to participate in the AIFF Youth Leagues 2020-21, will be shared separately by the Leagues Department of AIFF later, based on the accreditation results for the 2020-21 season. Participation in the respective youth leagues will be confirmed through formulation, using star ratings.

The link to the portal for uploading all supporting documents as per the accreditation criteria is the same link used to access the AIFF Central Registration System (AIFF CRS). All academies who do not have access to the CRS would be required to get in touch with the concerned State Football Association of their location.
