Manisha Kalyan, the 2020-21 AIFF Emerging Footballer of the Year is the first Indian footballer to have scored a goal against any Brazilian Senior National team. Manisha hails from Hoshiarpur, Punjab, where she first played football at the age of 13 when her school PT teacher asked her to switch from athletics to football. The rest is history.
