A creative midfielder who can also play off the left, Sahal Abdul Samad brings excitement whenever he steps onto the field for any side. His passing, dribbling and a quick change of pace are some of the key assets that he possesses.

A player who was born outside of India, Sahal moved to Kerala when he was a teenager. Spotted by local scouts while playing for his college, Sahal gave a trial for Kerala Blasters' 'B' team and made an immediate impression. A professional contract followed in 2018 with the senior team and Sahal has remained at the club to this day.

Sahal has been a part of the international setup since a long time as well, making his debut for the Blue Tigers on 5th June 2019 against Curacao in the King's Cup.
