Bio

Hailing from Mahilpur, Punjab, Amrinder Singh made his senior national team debut on 19th August 2017 against Mauritius, having represented the nation at U-23 level in the Asian Games 2014 and AFC U23 Championship 2016 qualifiers.

Born in May 1993, Amrinder made his professional debut in the 2011-12 season for Pune FC. He has played for various teams across India at club level. However, the highlight of his club career came during the 2020/21 season as he won the Hero ISL trophy with Mumbai City FC. Following the win, Amrinder decided to take on another challenge as he joined ATK Mohun Bagan for the 2021/22 season.

Amrinder Singh has provided stiff competition to Gurpreet Singh Sandhu for the No. 1 spot in the Indian National Team, and with both players at the peak of their powers, it is a good headache for coach Igor Stimac to have.
