Bio

A defensive midfielder by trade, Pronay Halder is one of the most established players in the Indian National Football Team. With over a decade of experience playing at the highest level, Halder is regarded as one of the spearheads in the dressing room.

Born in West Bengal, Halder went on to represent Pailan Arrows as his first professional team in 2011. Following that, he moved to various parts of the country to play club football, right from Dempo in the Hero I-League in 2013 to ATK Mohun Bagan in the Hero ISL in 2020. Wherever Pronay Halder has went, he has been an everpresent and a favourite for the coach in central midfield. His tenacity, aggression and awareness make him an asset for any coach.

In 2021, Pronay Halder moved to Jamshedpur FC on a loan deal from ATK Mohun Bagan.
