KOLKATA: Mohun Bagan are on the verge of making their second consecutive appearance in the AFC Cup group stage but Club Valencia, whom they are hosting in the second leg of the AFC Cup Playoff Stage at the Rabindra Sarovar Stadium tomorrow (February 28, 2017) afternoon, can thwart their dream of securing the last spot from the South Asian Zone.

Mohun Bagan are holding a slight advantage over the visitors, thanks to their 1-1 draw in the first leg two weeks before.

Although gaffer Sanjoy Sen confirmed that his Scottish striker Darryl Duffy, who scored the solitary goal in the first leg, wouldn't take any part in tomorrow's game along with Pranoy Halder, other boys are confident to make it happen tomorrow.

"Duffy and Pranoy won't play tomorrow, but everyone else is fit and rearing to give it a shot tomorrow. We're hoping for the best and there's no reason to give it a second thought on that."

Ahmed Mujuthaba, Club Valencia coach, isn't ready to spare any space for the hosts and he thinks his team is equally good to be placed in the AFC Cup group stage.

"I'm proud of my boys and we're concentrating on our tactics. Mohun Bagan are definitely good but we're on the same page now. We'll leave nothing behind tomorrow to go one step above."

Meanwhile, Azharuddin Mullick, who has already made his name a household one for his prolific display over, sounds pretty confident ahead of tomorrow's tie.

"We are ready for tomorrow's game and once given a chance tomorrow, I'll surely make it count."
