India U-14 Girls blast nine goals past Nepal

NEW DELHI: The Indian U-14 Women’s National Team hammered Nepal 9-0 in the AFC U-14 Regional Championship in Dushanbe, Tajikistan in their second fixture of the Groups Stages on April 27, 2016.

The Indian U-14 Women shook-off their defeat against Bangladesh and took the lead in the 1st minute itself when Bannya Kabiraj thumped her chance home. Nine minutes, later Santhiya scored for the Indian eves to make the scoreline read 2-0.

Strikes by Thailand Devi in the 13th and the 18th minute and Niketa in the 30th minute meant that Indian went into tunnel with a hefty 5-0 lead as the half-time scoreline read 5-0.

The relentless pressure by the Indian eves lead them to further dividends in the second half as Kavi scored in the 39th minute to make it 6-0. Thailand Devi completed her hattrick in the 45th minute and Sunita Munda added to the tally in the 46th and the 56th minute as the full-time scoreline read 9-0 in India’s favour.
