NEW DELHI: Maharashtra continued their dominant performance in the 70^th edition of the Santosh Trophy as they defeated Railways 3-0 in a one-sided encounter of Group A in Nagpur, Maharashtra today (March 02, 2016).

Vijit Shetty gave Maharashtra the lead as early as the 14^th minute and Mohammed Shahbaz doubled Maharashtra’s lead in the 39^th minute to make the half-time score line read 2-0. Aaron D’Costa added a third goal for Maharashtra as the full-time scoreline read 3-0. Maharashtra continue to sit atop Group A with this win.

Meanwhile, Services defeated Jammu & Kashmir 1-0 in a cagey match which remained volatile for the entire course and witnessed a goal in the 59^th minute courtesy of a P.Jain strike, after both the Teams went on level pegging to the tunnel at half-time.

The Group B fixtures slated for tomorrow see Punjab clash swords against West Bengal and Goa take on Assam.
