Barely two weeks after the Indian National Team got its Official Facebook Page, AIFF’s Twitter Handle @AIFFMedia acquired the blue tick -- an Official status from Twitter.

@AIFFMedia wants to salute the fans, the real heroes of Indian Football whose support has helped the Twitter handle go from strength to strength since June 2015 as @AIFFMedia has acquired around 11000 followers in the last three months.

At present, the Twitter Handle boasts of a strength of more than 14000 followers.

In his message AIFF general Secretary thanked the fans for their support and involvement.

“I always maintain that your support stays our strength. Passionate Indian fans from all over the World connect with us on @AIFFMedia Twitter handle. Keep supporting us,” he said.

@AIFFMedia has been one of the sole platforms besides the Indian Football team Official FB Page that has been providing exclusive updates from #BehindtheScenes of all National Teams across all age-groups.

AIFF Media will also be giving away Official merchandise and game tickets from time to time on interactive forums on the Official Twitter Handle and also the Official Facebook Page from time to time.
