All India Football Federation invites applications for the post of Technical Officer for State Associations. The selected Candidates are to be based in Aizawl, Guwahati, Kolkata, Goa, Kochi Mumbai and Delhi.

Candidates are requested to mention the City they are applying for. All applications are to be mailed to aiff@the-aiff.com and the last date of applications is July 8, 2015.

Requirements

·         Wide knowledge of football in the State and Country

·         Former player

·         Minimum Experience as a coach (7 years) and preferably AIFF instructor

·         Qualified with minimum AFC A Licence and currently active as a coach/ Instructor

·         Expertise in football education

·         Credibility and recognition in the football environment of the country

·         Ability to plan, realize and follow-up projects and programmes

·         Leadership qualities

Responsibilities

·         Starting point

  • The Technical Officer can’t be the State Teams coach

·         General

  • Works in the medium and long-term
  • Defines and leads the State Technical Programme as per the National Football philosophy
  • Recruitment of staff members in his department, if need be

·         Grassroots and youth football

  • Animation and expansion of general football activities on all level (from grassroots to elite, for boys and girls/men and women)
  • Elaboration of programmes for football in schools
  • Development of football activities for primary school children (boys and girls, 6 – 12 years old)
  • Animation and implementation of youth competitions (U-15 and U-17 in particular) for boys and girls

·         Coach Education

  • Introduction, control and supervision of AIFF D Licence and Grassroots coaching education programme
  • Organization and control of refreshers courses
  • Organization of specific seminars for coaches & school PE teachers
  • Data base of coaching licences holders

·         Elite football

  • Regular meetings and contacts with State club coaches
  • Talent scouting and identification system programmes as per AIFF policy and plans
  • Coordinating Training Centres and Coaching Programme (elite Talents) if any
  • Coordination and supervision of youth and women’s State teams programmes and activities

·         Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepares monthly reports and submit it to AIFF
  • Database of all players from grassroots to elite level should be maintained
  • Coordination on regular basis with AIFF and implement programmes as per the guidelines and philosophy of AIFF
  • Reports all developments to Honorary Secretary and to AIFF on monthly and quarterly basis
