AIFF U-15 Academy boys shine in the zone of Academics

NEW DELHI: Developing bright minds not only in the field of Football, but also in the zone of Academics, whilst focusing equally on both has always been an integral part of the All India Football Federation philosophy.  

Therefore, The All India Football Federation is proud to announce that 17 boys of the AIFF U-15 Academy out of 18 have successfully passed their National Institute Of Open School Secondary Examination with flying colors.

The 18 boys who were enrolled in NIOS Pune, have all been awarded with certificates, baring one.

Congratulating the boys on the stellar feat achieved, the All India Football Federation General Secretary, Mr. Kushal Das said, “It is an amazing feat to see that the lads have excelled in both Football and Academics. I am proud of their achievement and I wish them all the best in life ahead”.

“It is imperative that Academics in AIFF Academies are given equal importance as Football. That has always been our philosophy”, Mr.Das added.

The AIFF General Secretary also announced a reward of Rs 5000 for each of the successful boys and a Rs 10,000 bonus for each of the tutors.

Furthermore, Subham Sarangi, who was doing his regular schooling in Goa has passed his Class Xth Board Examinations with 72%.

The AIFF U-15 Academy Boys have hence proved that attaining excellence in both Academics and Football, is as easy for them as juggling a ball.
