NEW DELHI: Riding on a brace from Indumathi, Indian Women breezed into the Final of the Women’s SAFF Final when they blanked Sri Lanka 5-0 in the first semifinal in Islamabad on Wednesday (November 19). India led 2-0 at the interval.

In a one-sided contest, Indumathi opened the scoring for India in the 23^rd minute only for Bala Devi to double the lead in the 31^st minute. Bala with her strike took her tally of goals to 12, the highest in the Tournament so far.

Changing over, Parameshwori Devi scored the third almost immediately, in the 48^th minute. Thereafter Indumathi scored her second of the match in the 69^th minute to make it 4-0 for India.

Kamala Devi completed the rout scoring from the spot in the 72^nd minute.

India will now meet Nepal in the final on November 21.
