Mumbai City FC, Chennaiyin FC look to get back to winning ways

NEW DELHI: Both Mumbai City FC and Chennaiyin FC will look to bounce back from their respective defeats at the hands of NorthEast United and Delhi Dynamos when the two lock horns at the Jawaharlal Stadium in Chennai today (October 28, 2014).

While Chennaiyin FC suffered a heavy 4-1 defeat at the hands of Delhi Dynamos in their second away fixture of the Indian Super League (ISL) season, Mumbai succumbed to an unexpected 0-2 home defeat against NorthEast United FC, a game in which Peter Reid’s side failed to test the opposition goalkeeper.

The Abhishek Bachchan co-owned outfit though have a leg up over their opponents on the day, occupying the top half of the table in third place with six points from three games, while Mumbai City FC are three points short after playing the same number of matches.
