Inder Singh to inaugurate Punjab League

AIFF Media Team NEW DELHI: The 28th JCT Punjab State Super Football League 2014-2015 (sponsored by JCT Limited) is starting today (August 25) and will continue till October 19, 2014 in many cities & rural areas of Punjab. A total of 56 matches are scheduled to be held in a double leg league basis, out of which major part of the league will see eight top gunners (BSF, RCF, Punjab Police, JCT Academy, CRPF, PSPCL, United Punjab FC and Dalbir FA) to play 24 matches in Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar. The opening ceremony of this league will be held in Guru Gobind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar at 4.00 PM today. Former India captain and Arjuna Awardee Inder Singh will be the Chief Guest on this occasion and will kick-start the league. Madam Priya Thapar, Director (HR) JCT Limited, will unfurl the PFA Flag and distribute footballs to the kids on this occasion.
