NEW DELHI: United Sikkim would be aiming to give a better account of themselves brushing aside the Federation Cup debacle when they throw their hat in the ring of contemporary hopefuls, all vying for a place in the Airtel I-League Season 2014/15.    

The Sikkim Club have registered 27 players for the Final Round of the tournament, and are eyeing a return to the top tier Club competition of Indian Football. The team, led by skipper Mayal Dok Lepcha, is accompanied by Head Coach S Ekendra Singh, physiotherapist Sheril Lepcha, and other support staffs.

The Club have two Nigerian players in Oluwawunmi Somide and Ugochukwu Godwill.

They started their campaign in the Final Round with a clash against Shillong outfit Royal Wahingdoh FC, who beat them 1-0 on March 23, courtesy of a solitary goal from Babatunde Badmus.

The Snow Lions play their next match against Delhi outfit Hindustan FC, at the Satindra Mohan Dev Stadium in Silchar, on Tuesday, March 25.

The second division I-League final round is in two phases with the first leg at Silchar and second leg at Aizwal.

The 20-member Squad:
