NEW DELHI: The Online Application System for Coaching Courses is now launched on the All India Football Federation (AIFF) Website for the AFC B-Certificate Course scheduled to be held in Maharashtra from March 29 to April 18, 2014.

Beginning with the AFC B-Certificate Course, all applications for AFC-C, B, A, Goalkeeping (all levels), Instructor, Refresher, Conditioning, Futsal, Elite, and Pro-Diploma Courses organised by AIFF will be accepted directly through Online Application System (OAS) from the Candidates.

AIFF D-Certificate Courses will remain a State based initiative, the selection of which will be done and made by the State Associations or any other Footballing organisation within the State Association with due approval from AIFF.

AIFF, fresh from the National Sports Federation of the Year triumph, has been dedicated to improving Coach Education and has always been on the lookout for innovations which will help in the development of the same.

The process starts with AIFF informing all stakeholders about an upcoming Course through its online system and Website, following which any interested and eligible Candidate will have to register and create an online account for the application process. Course Intimation, information and advertisement will be through the AIFF Website.

The following basic steps will have to be followed for applying for a Coaching Course:

Step1: Go to www.the-aiff.com/coach-education.htm

Step 2: Under 'Become a Coach' Click on ‘apply now’

Step 3: Create Your Account filling in all necessary details in the Registration form

Step 4: Check your registered e-mail for verification link and log in by clicking on the link sent

Step 5: Log in with your username and password

Step 6: Click on Apply for a Course

Step 7: Fill in the application form and submit

Details about the Courses will be intimated through the above media 15 days before the final deadline for receiving applications with certain exceptions as per situations. The State Associations will be responsible for spreading the information and details of each Course to be conducted across the State besides the information being also put up on the AIFF Website.

The Candidates will then have to upload and submit necessary information and documents in the system by the given deadline to complete the application process. Once the deadline has passed, no further application will be received and AIFF will make a selection of the best and final list of candidates deemed eligible through their credentials and information submitted for the particular Course. The selected Candidates will be informed about the same through the State Association they are based under as mentioned in their application form.

The Candidates will have to pay their Course fees by the given deadline to complete their registration for the course, only after which they’d become eligible to participate in the same.

It therefore becomes important that interested Candidates download the AIFF Coaching Calendar available on the Website besides regularly checking it for any updates or change in the calendar.

The deadline for receiving applications for the AFC B-Certificate Course at Maharashtra from 29th March till 18th April, 2014 is February 28, 2014.
