NEW DELHI: The young colts of the All India Football Federation Goa Regional Academy U-14 played out a 1-1 draw against Salgaocar U-16 Team at the Seraulim Ground in Goa.

Hrishi Dhath scored for the Academy Boys at the beginning of the second half after both the outfits went into the break on level pegging.

Starting as favourites against their senior counterparts, the boys put in yet another gritty performance against their physically strong and tough tackling opponents.

Comparatively the U-14 Goa Regional Academy Boys were a better side in the first half creating many goal scoring chances but were not able to find the back of the net.

Posty the breraher, the midfield comprising of Abhijit Sarkar, Hrishi Dhath ,Amay Avinash  and Ninthoinganba constantly disturbed the rival defense with some good moves and play making. The deadlock was finally broken in the 45^th minute when a cross from Striker Shubham Sarangi  from the right  flank was met by Hrishi Dhath.

In the Dying minutes of the match Salgaocar got the equaliser through Winger Shane who tapped the ball into the goal when Goa Academy goalkeeper Tamal Naskar  failed to collect  a 35-yard free kick.
