India’s U-13 girls continued their winning streak in the U-13 Football Tournament when they defeated Jordan 7-1 at the Police Grounds, Bambalapitiya in Colombo. This was India’s second successive victory having beaten Palestine 9-0 in the first encounter.

Captain Kashmina scored a hat-trick while Roja Devi scored a brace. Lifa Gama and Daya scored one apiece to complete the rout.

Coach Priya was all praise for the girls. “They are always willing to learn. Getting such an exposure at this age will help them do wonders in the future,” she said.

India are next slated to play Sri Lanka.
