JCT Mills Football Club, Phagwara is known as one of the major Football Club in North India.

With the direct initiative of our worthy Chairman & Managing Director Mr.M.M.Thapar,  JCT Mills Football Club was established in the year 1971 with all the local-Punjabi players. Luckily, JCT Mills got talented young players in its first batch which came into limelight in a short span of time because of its performance.  Late Sh.G.S.Virk, was assigned all the ground work who was Sports Supervisor of the mills at that time and later became its first Coach and discharged his duty as Coach up to the year 1992.

In the year 1974, great footballer S.Inder Singh and few senior players from Leaders Club, Jalandhar, joined JCT and within the short span of time, JCT became one of the famous and popular club of the North India. S.Inder Singh, Arjuna Awardee & S.Parminder Singh, Player of the decade (1980-1990), both played for Asian All Star Football Team and are still attached with the JCT Mills Football Club.
