All India Football Federation (AIFF) is seeking to recruit candidates for the following position:

ALL INDIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION (AIFF) is currently accepting applications for the following positions: 

DEPUTY GENERAL SECRETARY  

The Deputy General Secretary would report in to the General Secretary and shall assist the General Secretary in discharging his duties as listed in the AIFF Constitution.  

The primary responsibilities of the General Secretary include: 

         I.            Implementation of the decisions and policies of the Executive Committee.

       II.            Administration of the Secretariat and supervision of staff in performing their duties.

      III.            Discipline of all staff of the Secretariat.

   IV.            Recording of all minutes of the meetings of the Association.

     V.            Development of the organization.

   VI.            Planning and Execution.

  VII.            Any other duties allocated by the President and/or General Secretary.

 

Applicants must meet the following minimum criteria:

 

         I.            Age: 40 to 50 years

       II.            Should have administrative background in Sports especially football

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER (CEO) OF PROFESSIONAL (I-League) LEAGUE AND CLUBS DEPARTMENT

  

The head of the I-League and Clubs Department will report in to the Chairman,    I-League / General Secretary and shall have overall responsibility for administering all National Association (NA) competitions for the professional clubs and for designing and implementing programmes to develop the professional clubs.

 

The position would exclude responsibilities for amateur, youth or women competitions.

 

The I-League will be the premier competition under his/her management.

 

His/her duties will include:

 

         I.            Fixture Scheduling, including authority to postpone a fixture in exceptional circumstances.

       II.            Player Registration

      III.            Transfer of Players

   IV.            Disciplinary System

     V.            Event Management of League Fixtures

   VI.            Compliance with League Rules

  VII.            Working with and implementing the decisions of the League Management Committee

VIII.            Reporting all significant events and issues to I-League Chairman and  Committee

   IX.            Maintaining the minutes of the League Management Committee

     X.            Promotion of the League (in cooperation with the National Association's Communications and Marketing Departments)

   XI.            Media Management of the League  - assuring the League, its clubs and fixtures receive positive coverage in the Media (in cooperation with National Association's Communications Department)

  XII.            Spokesperson for the League

XIII.            Content about the League on official National Association and/or league web-site

XIV.            Marketing, Sponsorship and Commercial activities of the League – in cooperation with National Association's Marketing Department

XV.            Appointing Match Commissioners in consultation with the Referees Sub Committee appointed for the purpose, receiving, analyzing and acting on their reports

XVI.            Venue allocation

XVII.            Ensuring compliance with Club Regulations for clubs participating in the professional league

XVIII.            Developing competitions for the professional clubs as required to ensure a full season (8 months) of competitive football

XIX.            Developing and upgrading revised regulations for the clubs

XX.            Designing and implementing other programmes for club development

XXI.            Recommending to the I-League Committee, new clubs applying to join the league

XXII.            Ensuring clubs participating in AFC competitions comply fully with AFC regulations

XXIII.            Ensuring that appropriate financial records and documentation of income and expenditure of the League are maintained – in cooperation with NA Finance Department.

MANAGER, I-LEAGUE AND CLUBS DEPARTMENT

 

The Manager, I-League and Clubs Department would report in to the CEO,     I-League and under the direction of the Head of Department, the Administrator will have responsibility for the following areas:

 

         I.                        Accuracy of all records (This is a key component of the position)

       II.                        Player registration system

      III.                        Player transfer system

   IV.                        Disciplinary system

     V.                        Match Commissioner reports

   VI.                        Recording of results and compiling League table

  VII.                        Fair play competition

VIII.                        Organizing draws and other events relating to the professional competitions

   IX.                        Event management of League matches

     X.                        Other responsibilities allocated to him by the Head of Department.

         I.            Should have administrative background preferably with relevant experience in Sports

ASSISTANT MANAGER, I-LEAGUE AND CLUBS DEPARTMENT

 

The Assistant Manager, I-League would report in to the CEO, I-League and the Manager, I-League. The primary responsibilities of this position would be to assist the Manager, I-League to discharge the following responsibilities:

 

i.                    Accuracy of all records (This is a key component of the position)

ii.                  Player registration system

iii.                Player transfer system

iv.                 Disciplinary system

v.                   Match Commissioner reports

vi.                 Recording of results and compiling League table

vii.               Fair play competition

viii.             Organizing draws and other events relating to the professional competitions

ix.                 Event management of League matches

x.                   Other responsibilities allocated to him by the Head of Department.

HEAD ADMINISTRATOR OF NATIONAL TEAMS DEPARTMENT

The Head Administrator of the National Teams Department will report in to the General Secretary and will have responsibility for organizing all arrangements for matches and training for all national teams.

 

He will consult with the managers/coaches, physiotherapists and doctors of the national teams and would be responsible for the following functions:

 

                                 I.                        Selection and arrangements of the venues for training

                               II.                        Team equipment

                              III.                        Transport – internal and international

                           IV.                        Accommodation

                             V.                        Providing for specified dietary requirements

                           VI.                        Liaise with host associations

                          VII.                        Organize the logistical requirements for visiting teams

                        VIII.                        Fixture for national teams, under direction of General Secretary
